• All designated bush campgrounds are subject to a fee and a Permit must be obtained prior to setting up camp.
• Each vehicle requires a permit - (one vehicle / 7 person MAX per campsite)
  • If you are towing a caravan or trailer, these details can be added to your permit as part of the booking process.
• The Permit grants access to camp in an unallocated campsite booked to the particular campground of your choice Yorke Peninsula's designated bush campgrounds.  NOTE: If you require more than one campsite, you will need to provide registration/s for each Permit.
• All camping Permits are recorded on an online central database - printing your Permit is optional.
• Our Rangers have access to the online database of vehicle registrations provided during the purchase process. Vehicle registrations are needed so Rangers know that you belong. You are at risk of a $315.50 fine if you choose to camp without a Permit.
• Stay 7 Pay 5 Discount only applies when staying at one campground over consecutive days. If you plan to explore the region and stay at different campgrounds, you can create an itinerary during the booking process allowing you to book a specific number of nights at each campground.
• To purchase a Monthly or Annual Permit please call Yorke Peninsula Council (08)8832 0000. To make payment and be issued a code to use at the checkout when booking your campsites.
• Special rates apply for Yorke Peninsula Council rate payers purchasing weekly, monthly or annual Permits. The discount will be applied once you enter your Rates Assessment Number. Please have this number ready if you call to book over the phone. 
• The Permit does NOT cover camping within Dhilba Guuranda - Innes National Park.

 

*Conditions apply - Annual Permit holders who have camped at a bush camping location for a period of 6 consecutive weeks must not camp at the same (or another) Bush Camping location until a period of 4xconsecutive weeks has expired.
